Guitar lessons at Cransley School

How Guitar lessons at Cransley School work:

Lessons length: half an hour.

Lesson format: Always 1:1.

Scheduling: I will make sure that the schedule get's shuffled every week to make sure that no one misses the same lesson repeatedly. Schedules will be sent out at the beginning of the week via email.

Do I need my own guitar? Yes, it's best that you bring your own guitar into school on lesson days. If you don't have one yet or forget to bring yours, I will have one spare with me.

Pricing: £120 per half term. This works out as £20 per lesson spread out over the course of the year with the understanding that students may miss 3 - 4 lessons per year due to things like school trips and lessons that absolutely cannot be missed.

How will I know what my child is working on? Each week, you'll get lesson notes from me detailing what we're learning and what I'd like them to work on until the next lesson. I may also send sheet music digitally so that paper copies getting lost won't matter too much.

Can you put my child through their grade exams? Yes, I am well versed in doing video exams for both Rockschool and Trinity.

Beth is sat down playing a white squire Jazzmaster with a purple scratch plate. She has her index finger on fret 12 of the guitar and looks like she is about to use her ring finger to play the next note. She has a look of concentration on her face. She is dressed in a black beanie hat, a black hoodie and black cargo trousers, and her lilac hair is resting over her right shoulder in a plait, with stray pieces of hair falling around the left side of her face.
